Reason why they lost so many paying users may be pokemon go = ingress with pokemon skins. No effort in making the game more like a real pokemon game. Jimmy Ramos September 21, 2016 at 8:02 pm - Reply I won’t give a cent to Niantic until they put more PokéStops in my country. Roberto de lasvegas September 21, 2016 at 8:04 pm - Reply the only way of players go back to the game is .if we can play versus, trade, and the gym system changes coz right now the game sucks Viola Rizzo September 21, 2016 at 8:05 pm - Reply Learn officially earn slip complex village Psy aye aye aye September 21, 2016 at 8:08 pm - Reply Guys who say that Pokemon GO is a piece of shit and people who play this can’t call themselves "a real players/fans" are dumb af. I mean, yeah, saying that Pokemon Go is a piece of shit isn’t that bad, but calling Pkmn Go players ”not real players” is stupid. When Pokemon Go came out i was like "meh, let’s try" and i liked it, after a 2 or 3 weeks of playing i started to watch Pokemon anime (Starting with Indigo League), then i started to play original games (I completed Fire Red, Ruby and now i just started emerald). I am still playing Pokemon go (But i think that original games are much better), but i still appreciate it, because of it i started to like Pokemon. If you think that "real players/fans" are those who watch/play pokemon since it came out are idiots, because it means that no one new can like it, cos u r the "REAL FAN" and he is a poseur and he should stop playing. So yeah, it was my butthurt after watching the comment section. edit; i dont call myself ”real fan” or something like this PicsL8ed September 21, 2016 at 8:10 pm - Reply I have no idea how people call Go repetitive. Battling wild pokemon, random trainers and gyms are all pretty much exactly the same in the traditional games.. and that’s perfectly fine. Just realise if people can have fun doing that, than people can have fun aiming pokeballs at pokemon and taking over gyms (and later battling each other) in Go. If it’s the lack of story/adventure that’s making Go repetitive for you, then you missed the point. YOU are supposed to go out and make that part for yourself! That’s why it’s an AR game to begin with; why it uses a real map, your actual location, etc. TBoneTony September 21, 2016 at 8:11 pm - Reply 79% of paying players won’t tolerate paying for micro transactions for a long period of time. Regardless of playing the game for free and only paying for micro transactions like most of these games do, I wonder do smart phone game developers ever make much money at all. There is also the fact that kids who have to go to school will only be able to play these games on the weekend as well as on holidays so that is where most of the attention is. As soon as school season comes back in, there is little chance smart phone developers will earn any consistent money and their profits will perhaps shrink. Hopefully with New Super Mario Bros Run game that is a smart phone game sold for at least 10 dollars and no micro transactions, other than paid DLC, I hope to god that Nintendo if their success is in the smart phone market in the future if the NX fails then so be it. Mary Jane Hoelland September 21, 2016 at 8:12 pm - Reply about time Sotirisdim8 September 21, 2016 at 8:13 pm - Reply Well , I definately slowed down my Pokemon Go play time in favour of me returning to my 3DS… Well, now with the 0.37 update I can’t play anymore cause I’m rooted… Yeah Niantic! Because it’s really hard to spoof your location on Android devices without having root, that you needed to block all users using root! Sometimes I wonder if they wonder why they are losing players and don’t think about that stupid update…. Warning! Useless facts Let’s see… About 63% of android users are rooted, and let’s say that from that 63%, 45% plays pokemon go, and that leaves us with about 18 percent of rooted users who don’t play, leaving us with 82 percent of general android users minus rooted ones who don’t play pokemon go… I would say that from all that, 23% of unrooted users don’t play Pokemon go, leaving us with 59 percent of android users who actually play… leaving 26,5 rooted users who play… Niantic basically kicked off 26,5 users of it’s android userbase leaving it at a staggering 32,4 android user base… I don’t really know if these are the actual numbers, I’m just specualting TheSomeoneXD September 21, 2016 at 8:13 pm - Reply I stopped playing, and I haven’t payed a penny. LadyEllesmere September 21, 2016 at 8:15 pm - Reply I could care less about GO now. Gary Carter September 21, 2016 at 8:16 pm - Reply well yeah. If you think about it. They still haven’t fixed the tracking system. Only San Francisco, which is a 6 hour drive from me has a near by. The paying players don’t live there and if they do, they only buy incubators and lures. I new people who stopped playing because they paid just to get balls. Were there is less poke stops, more money. They should have been equal with the poke stops. I live by 8 and they aren’t close. You go Santa Monica pier. A gang of them. That’s why I don’t pay. AllAboardTheDankMemeTrain September 21, 2016 at 8:18 pm - Reply People finally realized Pokemon go was complete shit…..fucking finally. Raymond13557 September 21, 2016 at 8:18 pm - Reply i lost all interest in pokemon go. pacguy64 September 21, 2016 at 8:23 pm - Reply The new update causes me to have server issues after 30 minutes of play. Before, it usually lasted 1 – 2 hours, but now it feels like I’ve barely left my house and the game is disfunctional. I don’t want to use incense/eggs/lures because I know that the new update won’t let me use them for their full extent anymore. I wish it would just let me play the game instead of kicking me out of the servers :I rodrigo torres enriquez September 21, 2016 at 8:25 pm - Reply I still play Pokemon GO for fun because I like Pokemon I grew with it and it’s a part of my childhood The One And Only Senpai September 21, 2016 at 8:26 pm - Reply I’m a paying player yet I continue to press on heading to level 40, even though I already have the general 142 count on my pokedex, though I need to stock on pokeballs and incubators Mythical Flames September 21, 2016 at 8:26 pm - Reply Um the real reason they lost all those paying players is because there’s hacks now which in my opinion destroyed the game that might also be why the game is losing popularity fast :( Andrew Ottesen September 21, 2016 at 8:26 pm - Reply coc is a good game I dont play it anymore but it is still good ultimateblaze23 September 21, 2016 at 8:26 pm - Reply It’s popular because it’s Pokemon, obviously. It’s not even slightly surprising. STFU already. Chef Deadpool September 21, 2016 at 8:26 pm - Reply the reason i stopped playing it was because i kept finding myself going to the same street (load up on items from stops) then the same pokestop hub at the local park (can access 4-5 stops from 1 bench ring). I got bored of always going to the same locations. it kinda got better when i added geocaching to it, because then i was going to new locations. maybe they should add an "event" location to the game that players can set up to draw out more players to these different locations that could involve battles, competitions, trades, or something so people dont get tired of the same grind each outing. Brett Magee September 21, 2016 at 8:27 pm - Reply Tbh its just not a fun game. And there is very little to do in it. PenguinJ44: Army September 21, 2016 at 8:27 pm - Reply If pokemon made the game playable on tablets and ipod touch, then many more people, including kids who only have an ipod touch and any tablet, play more. Troy Schram II September 21, 2016 at 8:29 pm - Reply They banned them Midnight Sonnet September 21, 2016 at 8:29 pm - Reply On Google Play, the app’s download amount dropped from 500 million to 100 million. That’s a TON of uninstalling. I heard it’s due a lot to banning rooted phones and the fact that people can’t log in. Niantic had better fix this or it’s only gonna get worse. I’m still playing the game, bugs and all. Glus kap September 21, 2016 at 8:29 pm - Reply "mobile strike as complexity"unsub Matthew O'Connor September 21, 2016 at 8:30 pm - Reply Maybe if they didn’t make it a game that only people in California could have fun with people would stay. Michael Mccartney September 21, 2016 at 8:32 pm - Reply I still play, but, not nearly as much as I used too. Used to play daily. Now I play once or twice a week. SoulessCreation September 21, 2016 at 8:32 pm - Reply the remaining players are the real ones. frogboy :D September 21, 2016 at 8:35 pm - Reply I play it, but no credit card = no paying Erik Turner September 21, 2016 at 8:36 pm - Reply "It’s" is not a possessive… ironically it’s "its", because "it’s" is a contraction of it is Mr389930 September 21, 2016 at 8:37 pm - Reply I spend money only one time on pokemon go that was it InoshiKenshi September 21, 2016 at 8:38 pm - Reply it was a fad…trend…they tend to die pretty fast. Why are you surprised? Jean Claude Castillo September 21, 2016 at 8:38 pm - Reply I haven’t played Pokémon Go yet, but after seeing this Video I am thinking on Downloading it and get leave my Clash of Clan Village for good. lol it has always been at Pokemon #tbh SoulessCreation September 21, 2016 at 8:38 pm - Reply i looked that up explain to me what that actually does because a few of my friends are still able to play with "rooted" devices Electro Axis September 21, 2016 at 8:38 pm - Reply Pokémon go generating the most transactions?! How?! Dokkan battle has over 90 million players and most of them buy dragon stones or $50! Spankin' Fred September 21, 2016 at 8:40 pm - Reply I was a paying player but my phone’s gps has been acting up and with all niantic’s anti-cheating measures that are in place I get a 100% flee rate because it thinks I’m gps spoofing. Then I have to uninstall the game and reinstall it… very annoying thing to happen after I spend $20 on items so I can catch rare pokemon at the fair, have 3 ponyta, 2 hitmonchan, magnemite and then a drowzee and a rattata break out without any wiggles to the pokeball and immediately run away. I’m lv30 and have never gps spoofed EVER. I have paid more money to niantic than I care to admit to anyone. I don’t deserve to be treated this way. So I stopped playing entirely. Jiji Poid September 21, 2016 at 8:41 pm - Reply I play pokemon go occasionally.. particularly at conventions.. the only thing i spent money on tho was to increase bag space once. that is it though.. doesn’t help that my phone now can hardly play the game.. with out crashing all the time now.. I am in a boat where sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.. I can’t afford to buy a new phone atm so it is just going to have to wait.. They are not really targeting a large audience.. they are only targeting people who can drop 600$ on a phone more or less.. and for me it takes me a bit longer to save for a phone than most people.. if they made it to where it can be compatible with midrange and lowerend phones they would have a bigger player base .. that is just how i see it.. ChipmunkiousD September 21, 2016 at 8:43 pm - Reply I don’t pay for anything in the game, but I might get that wristband. I know I won’t lose that if some salty player gets me banned or something. Azteck9 September 21, 2016 at 8:43 pm - Reply I’ve gone back to crazy battle maison fights because go got boring. I just wanna train what I got. I love fighting types. Pure mono trainer, but all of them in the game are weak and damn near unobtainable for candy resources. Walking super far for the chance of not hatching their eggs, slowly gaining 1 candy, and losing gym battles to OP crap with no variety just makes it grow dull. I will always love that summer hype when the game was on and poppin, but it was just a fad. They can’t add anything now to make it great again. Slither is where it’s at now on mobile. lol galaxy gamingtube September 21, 2016 at 8:44 pm - Reply I agree Pi Napple Guy September 21, 2016 at 8:46 pm - Reply Honestly I stoped playing pokemon go a month ago. Kori September 21, 2016 at 8:50 pm - Reply I stopped playing pokemon go after the 3 level 26-30 accounts i had were deleted for hacking when my phone is being monitored i literally cant hack :( Ottomatic September 21, 2016 at 8:52 pm - Reply i stopped playing when ninatic started ruining it for us cheaters. Not my fault they don’t want my money. Marvin The Martian September 21, 2016 at 8:54 pm - Reply Why? I keep getting pidgys and rattata and pidgys. Noah Sivertsen September 21, 2016 at 8:54 pm - Reply Immediate bite air shopping pray Jesse Jennings September 21, 2016 at 8:55 pm - Reply Game is a ripoff. Uncatchable shit pokemon, only 10km eggs when you have no incubators and only 2km eggs when you do. Balls hitting the target only to bounce or roll off. Wasting balls trying to go to menu. Game glitching around pokestops when you passenger in car. All of the sudden gps is acting crazy though the technology has been out for two decades. I dont care how slow my service might be it shouldnt say I am in a place where I am not.The list is endless. Quit the fucking game. Withdreday September 21, 2016 at 8:56 pm - Reply I’m shocked you’re surprised. Simplicity sales. Especially in mobile games. Remember Flappy Bird? It can’t get more simplistic than that. Mr. @ September 21, 2016 at 8:58 pm - Reply I feel like GO would be nowhere near as popular if it were a different monster game, aside the use of Pokeballs it’s just an ingress clone with Pokemon glued to it. mario6506 September 21, 2016 at 8:58 pm - Reply when people pay money for an unfinished game Leave A Comment Cancel reply Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
